This post was supposed to be all about how about life is treating me unfairly again. Giving me no choice about situations that I am to resolve consequences of.  Particularly, about getting in a traffic accident, being hit by a crazy speeding careless driver, driver with no insurance. Being scared to death, still afraid to drive with my anxiety and panic attacks being back after fighting them so
successfully over the last 5 years. About losing the car in the accident - the car we use to drive the kids, the car we were supposed to drive 1500 miles in 4 weeks.

Instead, I am taking a different road here. Not blaming the fate, the life, the unfairness. I'll just be thankful for staying alive, for staying strong and able to go forward. I'll do whatever I can do using whatever I already have. Even if that seems too small to mean anything.

Этот пост должен был быть о том, как жизнь и судьба в очередной раз обошлись со мной несправедливо, опять все решив за меня и оставив меня разгребать последствия. О том, как я попала в аварию , как какой-то идиот въехал в меня на огромной скорости на съезде с трассы, как я вначале думала, что вообще погибну, потом поняла, что меня спасла наша большая машина, зато сама машина не подлежит восстановлению. И это - ровно за 4 недели до запланированной поездки на 2000 км. А я всего лишь неторопясь ехала в магазин....

Но в этот раз я пойду по-другому пути, я буду делать то, что могу, имея то, что у меня есть.

I doubt the feeling is mutual, but I do love it. No matter what happens to me, I always come back to that feeling of excitement about life. I always find my way back to that 14 year old self that once discovered that relentless love for life. I know I've changed a lot since then, I am not even sure whether I like the person I've become. But the love of love is what is keeping me feeling young and alive.

Сомневаюсь, конечно, что это чувство взаимно, но я действительно люблю жизнь. Что бы со мной не происходило, это чувство возвращается ко мне снова и снова. И я снова и снова возвращаюсь к себе 14-летней, когда я впервые обнаружила в себе эту неустанную любовь к жизни. С тех пор я очень изменилась, и я даже не уверенна, что мне нравится тот человек, которым я стала. Но именно любовь к жизни помогает мне оставаться в живых.

I love Valentine's Day! What else gives us a legitimate excuse to wear pink clothes and feel the most romantic of our selves.

 Nothing makes makes me feel stronger than wearing pink. Nothing makes me feel more vulnerable, than wearing pink. And that is what romance is about: being our strongest and being our weakest. Having our biggest victories and our most painful defeats. Romance makes the world move forward, it inspires the most beautiful artwork, the most touching music and brings magic to life that once I

seemed impossible. 

I am not talking about just love between 2 people - romance is more, it is about your soul being able to fly and never stop.

Ни в одном цвете я не чувствую себя настолько сильной, и в то же время слабой и уязвимой. В этом и есть суть романтики, если задуматься? Именно романтизм движет миром, рождает безумные идеи, самые громкие победы и, в то же время, самые тяжелые поражения.

Именно романтизм способен окрасить весь мир в розовый цвет...

ACCEPTANCE...

Such a beloved word for all the psychologists, religions and everyone else. Just accept the situation, forgive and let it go... So easy! Somehow, I never go the easy way.

I will never accept the fact that my life was changed forever by someone else who will never even be held responsible for that. I will never accept something I didn’t choose for myself.

I will never accept the fact that my little boy was supposed to be born healthy but someone interfered with their negligence and hurt him, and there is nothing I will ever be able to do to change that.

I will never accept being a housewife. This is not who I am, my home is my prison, and the less time I spend there the happier I am. It doesn’t mean I don’t love my home an my family, I just wanted to be more, I wanted to find my true calling, my passion, to succeed in my profession. But that was taken away from me, I became a housewife, but I never made that choice.

I will never accept wearing sweatpants or just plain boring clothes every day. I will keep buying dresses like this one and risk bring looked at, being made fun of. I'd rather put myself above that, proudly wearing my full-skirt dress and not caring of what others think. That is called freedom, and freedom is worth much more that acceptance.

I will never accept those things and I don’t want to. That’s the choice I do have and I’ve made. That’s the reason I don’t believe in any religions, because they take your choice away and make you ACCEPT. and I’d rather live with my unacceptance and fight every day, because if you fight, eventually you might even win!

ПРИНЯТИЕ.

Волшебное слово, так любимое всеми психологами, религиозными людьми и, вообще, просто всеми принимаемое за некую истину. "Прими, прости и отпусти" - такой, казалось бы девиз, никем и никогда не оспариваемый.

А я буду спорить. Пусть я буду в меньшинстве, но я не хочу ничего принимать. Точнее, я не собираюсь принимать то, что не я для себя выбирала.

Я никогда не приму того, что мой сын должен был родиться здоровым, но совершенно чужие люди вмешались в это, навредили ему своей халатностью и даже не понесли за это ответственность. Да, я научилась с этим жить, я сумела найти для себя путь среди множества препятствий и ухабов. Но принять это? Нет.

Я никогда не приму необходимость быть домохозяйкой. Я люблю свою семью, я люблю свой дом, но это не значит, что я должна полюбить сидеть в нем безвылазно 24 часа в сутки. Да даже 8 часов подряд!  Я просто хочу большего, я хочу найти свое призвание, реализоваться в своей профессии, да хотя бы просто работать "на дядю" в пресловутые с 9 до 5. Но жизнь заставила меня стать домохозяйкой. И это я для себя не выбирала, и принимать не хочу!

Я никогда не приму ношение спортивно-скучно-повседневной одежды! Нигде! Ни дома, ни на прогулке с детьми, ни в супермаркете, ни в путешествии. Я буду всегда носить такие платья, потому что это я пока что могу выбирать, и никто не может это у меня отобрать.

Выбор - это свобода, а свобода дороже любого принятия, и она стоит того, чтобы за нее бороться

As I have mentioned before, every holiday has it's color for me, and for Christmas - it is always white. Every time Christmas spirit comes around, I do the same - I look for the perfect white dress!

And then, I never take it off during the entire holiday season. With my favorite combination ever: winter parka and a festive dress. "Festive Casual" - that is my winter holiday wonderland motto!

 Как я уже говорила, для меня у каждого праздника свой цвет, и у Рождества он обязательно - белый! Поэтому к Рождеству каждый год я судорожно ищу себе его: белое платье. Разве можно не ощутить волшебство, если на тебе надето такое великолепие из белого кружева?! И опять, мое любимое сочетание - теплая парка и нарядное платье. Я готова так ходить от того момента, как начинают появляться новогодние елки и до старого нового года как минимум. Потому что "нарядное в повседневном" - мой девиз для волшебного зимнего праздничного сезона!

I know it might sound stupid, but I feel like my style, as well as my whole LIFEstyle is all about colors. For me, colors define my seasons, my holidays, my mood, my EVERYTHING. I just pick a color and go after it. For example, my birthday color is almost always yellow, my Christmas color is white, my New Year's color is gold, my Valentine's day color is red or pink, my spring color was light blue, my summer color was still light blue (because that one turned out to be a serious color crush), and my fall color is this orange-rust-terracotta one. I know, it is so cliche, I know it is almost on every blogger's must-have list for fall. But, it is something on my own as well!

Let's look back at 2014. Here, here, here, here, here and here - I was all about orange. I had an orange bag, an orange coat, 3 orange skirts, lots of orange tops and so on.

This fall's orange is different. The pants I am wearing are the perfect example of it. Although ... there are other shades that I am filling my wardrobe with, because, I told you, color is my biggest weakness and my biggest strength at the same time. Finding your color of the moment is probably the easiest way to find and to define your style, to build your basic wardrobe and to create your mood. If you find 2 colors - your job is done! Stick to them - and you'll never find in yourself the "I have nothing to wear" situation again!

Oh, and I am not talking about black, gray or beige, these colors don't count! They are not basic, they are an addition to the basic. The basics should be bold!



Цвет для меня - основа моего стиля. Свой цвет у каждого времени года, каждого праздника, каждого события и каждого настроения. День рождения у меня почти всегда жёлтого цвета, Рождество - белого, Новый год - золотого, весна - голубого, лето - тоже голубого, потому что уж очень сильно я на него запада, а осень - оранжевого. Причём в этом году меня их два: терракотовый и красно-коричневый. Четыре года назад у меня уже был оранжевый период.  Здесь, здесь, здесь, здесь, здесь and здесь я активно сходила с ума по оранжевому цвету. Но в этом году мой оранжевый уже не яркий и сочный, он глубокий и немного мрачный, с примесью горчичного, коричневого, красного - в общем, все то, что мне скорее всего не идет - но это абсолютно не важно...
