If the whole "basic wardrobe" concept ever existed, this parka would have been the number one candidate to join it.
Because over the last couple og years it should have bored us to death. Everyone wears them everywhere: fashion bloggers, celebrities and regular people in the street. Every brand makes them and there are options for any season: fur-lined versions for winter, classic cotton ones, short-sleeved and even sleeveless ones to take us from spring to summer.
But the fact is, they haven't even begun to be boring! In my case, it is still THE outerwear piece I reach for the most smong the rest of my coats and jackets. It goes with EVERYTHING, literally! So, if you already own one - wear it and be ready to buy the same one after it has been worn out. And if you don't - just go and buy one right now, and your dressing and styling life would immediately become much easier.
Now, just a one important tip. on choosing the right parka. It has to be military green. No other color works for this slyle jacket. I've tried a red one, a blue one and even my favourite yellow- if it is not military green, it looks totally un-stylish and un-flatterring.
Если базовый гардероб и существует, то такая куртка должна занять в нем почетное первое место.
Вообще, куртка-парка цвета хаки уже должна была бы намозолить глаза всем без исключения. А почему-то не намозолила! И не надоела! Почему? Потому что это - универсальная, нейтральная, стильная вещь, которая сочетается СО ВСЕМ. Поэтому, выход один: если у вас ее еще нет - ее нужно срочно купить, а если есть - носить, пока не сносите, а, сносив - покупать новую. И, кстати, не советую пытаться покупать парку другого цвета, кроме такого вот армейского зеленого, или хаки, или оливкового - не уверена, как правильно обозвать этот цвет. Вам это цвет не идет? - Не правда, он всем идет! И именно цвет отличает стильную парку от бабской универсальной куртки "на все случаи жизни". Я пыталась носить и красную, и даже мою любимую желтую - все равно не то. Только не для этого фасона!
