Who would ever think that we'd ever refer to the lipstick as the most irrelevant makeup item. But it is. Since everyone is wearing a mask, it makes no sense to wear it...

That is so not true! 

If you are not going anywhere,  if you stay home all day, now go and put the damn lipstick on! For once in a lifetime, the outside doesn't matter. You can be 100% yourself under that mask. You can be daring, you can be bold or you can be shy. It is your little secret.

Poor beauty and fashion industry is always the first to take the blame of being vain and irrelevant. Of course, "we are busy hoarding toilet paper, who cares about makeup in times LIKE THAT!" 

My advice? Instead of toilet paper, go buy a new lipstick! Seriously! The world would have instantly become a better place!

Сейчас, как никогда, НАДО накраситься этой чертовой помадой. Даже если вы целый день не входите из дома Потому что даже под маской вы остаетесь собой Задумайтесь только: впервые со в жизни не имеет значения то, что снаружи. Можно быть собой, а можно - тем, кем хочется.

 Это все равно останется вашим секретом. Можно впервые в жизни не думать о том, что подумают окружающие. Да, ситуация поганая, но как-то же надо ее пережить?!

I’ve just realized that in all those years I somehow learned to not care about circumstances. I hardly notice them and create my own world. The world where I make my own rules. And wear whatever I want. I’ve learned to do everything by myself and create my own mood,  find my energy God knows where, even if I didn’t get enough sleep or didn’t get a chance to leave the house.  Therefore, this whole sheltering in place thing doesn’t bother me that much. It sucks, but we need to survive, and in order to survive, we need to create our own circumstances. And if that means dressing up like a fool - I am in! 

Несмотря на то, что и.мне иногда хочется поныть, пофилософствовать и даже немногo  подепрессовать из-за карантина, я уже давно насамом деле не обращаю внимания на обстоятельства . Я привыкла сама создавать себе настроение, брать неизвестно откуда силы, забывать о том, что я сегодня не выспалась или ни разу не вышла из дому. Если бы я парилась из-за обстоятельств, я уже давно или спилась или сошла с ума. Поэтому  и карантин меня особо не напрягает. Да, противно, но надо самой создавать себе настолько, даже если до этого приходится нелепо вырядиться.

Vintage , old-fashioned or Trendy? I've been asking myself this question every time I wore this coat, so I wanted to feature it on my blog before the weather gets entirely out of the puffer season. I found it in a thrift store and it was 7 dollars. Down-filled, super lightweight, super warm Woolrich coat. Perfectly oversized, in a beautiful tan color, it is really trendy. It is far from form-fitting belted puffers we'd gotten used to before this oversize trend came. I paired it with something really modern (Mother high-waisted jeans) and the buttoned cardigan which is super trend for the current spring.

 Винтажно, старомодно или трендово? Твой вопрос я мысленно задавала себе каждый раз, когда надевала этот пуховик. А все потому, что нашла я его в секонде за 7 долларов. Он очень тёплый, 100% пух, супер легкий и, к тому же, от Woolrich. И, как я все-таки для себя решила - очень модный, современный и стильный. С тех пор, как мы перестали наконец-то носить обтягивающие приталенный пуховики и в моду вошёл оверсайз, можно смело отправляться за трендовыми вещами в секонды!
