I don’t even know how to start this post because my world has changed forever. My country is fighting for freedom and that fight is tough. One day I am full of hope and the next day brings despair.
Once upon a time I started this blog trying to cope with a personal tragedy, trying to run away from it it with pretty outfits, putting my emotions into outfits, or, on the opposite, contradicting them by dressing in light and bright colors when my soul indeed was in a dark place.
So maybe now our people will win by doing the same? Fighting for freedom with a new kind of weapon? With beauty and patience preceded by enormous strength and courage. Because that’s what Belarusian people are.
Я не знаю, что написать, потому что мир уже не будет прежним. Может, я была права, создав этот блог из личной трагедии и боли, попытавшись самовыразиться через одежду и образы. Иногда мои образы созвучны той грусти и боли, которую я испытываю. А иногда я просто назло всему наряжаюсь в белое и яркое, хотя на душе темно и уныло.
Может и со страной сейчас происходит то же самое? За последние 2 с лишним недели я узнала о своём народе то, о чем даже не подозревала. Оказывается, за 26 лет унижения мы не потеряли душу и не встали на колени. Да, мы слишком терпеливые и стойкие, и мы совершенно не умеем себя защищать. И я знаю одно: мы достойны победы, и возможно именно так мы победим? Красотой и женственностью, миром и добром, потому что за ними скрывается невероятная сила и мужество.
